Traditional smørrebrød are made from slices of rye bread, “decorated” with a generous quantity of toppings, such as smoked salmon, egg and caviar, topped with a creamy sauce, lemon slice and dill, or slices of roast beef with remoulade sauce, pickled cucumber and fried onions. The variations are endless.

Smørrebrød is a nutritious, well balanced and delicious meal!

Perfect for the busy worker for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or also as a treat for afternoon tea or in different variations for the apéro table. Serve it along with a glass of beer, wine or champagne.

Our rye bread is home made using our own sourdough starter, whole rye grain and a selection of organic flours.
